Ashbrook Byrne Kresge Flowers, a 10-lawyer shop based in Ohio, is another firm that says it is flourishing by taking on hot-button conservative litigation.
Benjamin Flowers, a former Ohio solicitor general, is currently representing a libertarian professor at an Ohio university who said he was fired for speaking out against diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. “We did the politically charged work, such as anti-DEI work that bigger law firms wouldn’t touch,” Flowers said. “Trump’s election brought more attention to those issues. We are now in a position where we can grow up with the conservative legal movement.”
