Peter V. Hilton

Peter V. Hilton is a seasoned attorney and strategic legal advisor with over a decade of experience spanning corporate law and complex legal operations. Known for his leadership at the intersection of law and business, Peter has built a distinguished career advising both startups and large companies. He has advised on dozens of venture financings from seed through late stage, including SAFEs (pre and post money), convertible notes, and preferred equity rounds (Series A–D), secured SEC and other compliance victories, and counseled billions of dollars of acquisitions and divestitures.

Peter has experience working in a large DC law firm and in-house with a fast-growing company. He has advised clients in numerous sectors including tech, defense, aerospace, and healthcare.

Peter emphasizes practical application in his work. Growing up in Silicon Valley during the dot-com era with subsequent educational and professional stints in Utah, Virginia, and the Midwest, Peter has seen a lot of different ways to do business and law. And he applies the best of each with integrity and excellence. Peter lives in Southwestern Ohio with his wife Rebekah and their five children.
